"Excellent stay! Good location, clean and comfortable rooms with good amenities such as a safe, refrigerator, and coffee pot in the room. Washer and dryer, microwave and ice machine on the floors. Staff very professional and friendly. Offered good dining and entertainment suggestions. Only drawback was walls to rooms were thin and tv noise/conversations in rooms and hallways could clearly be heard. However, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"I / we have stayed at the Portland Harbor Hotel at least 40 times over the years. I'm in the music business and one of the most talented "mastering" engineers on the planet (for LPs), Bob Ludwig, had his business here in Portland for decades. My assistant of also 40 + years lives near Portland and we always get together for dinner at Fore Street... a short walk from the hotel. The front desk people were very kind to put us in room 250 which is spectacular. You could swim laps in the bathtub ! I have nothing but positive things to say about the Portland Harbor Hotel !"

"We loved this Inn! Our stay was at the beginning of May, so before peak season. If you are not able to walk up stairs, definitely let the staff know when you book. We were on the second floor and there are no elevators (which didn't bother us), but if you had a difficult time with stairs, make sure you stay on the first floor. If you book during peak season you may not be able to park in the small back lot, but there is more parking across the street, which the hotel staff explains to you when you get there. This is the case with all inns/hotels in Maine if you stay downtown so nothing unusual, but good to know if you're from out of town. My boyfriend and I had a shared bathroom, which was clean and directly across the hall from us. We only stayed a night before we traveled up the coast to Bar Harbor, but I would absolutely stay here again. "
