"My Husband and I staged here this weekend. David was a fantastic host. The food was plentiful, amazing and a very good price. Breakfast was also amazing. "Nice enough staff. The pub looked like a 1970’s Benidorm recreation of a British pub with a ceiling full of beer mats. Food was ok but a little overpriced for pub grub. The outside area was filthy. The doors to the outbuildings that house the rooms were ramshackle. The rooms themselves looked like they were last decorated about 30 years ago. The TV was a 20 year old mini tv with free view that didn’t hold the signal. Neither tv or kettle had a PAT testing sticker. The bathroom was grubby...

"Toilet was slightly dirty, which is not acceptable especially during the current pandemic. Room was dingey and walls dirty, decor in bathroom particularly poor. One tap very stiff to turn. Annoyingly woken in middle of night by loud people around. Not a decent overall stay and we wouldn't stay again, nor recommend it."

"The station hotel bar areas where really nice up to date, clean and nice decor, outside area, near for when the weather is good, also do food, staff are really welcoming, polite and genuine, rooms are are large, tv w/c, could do with an update in decor id say, maybe en-suits in all rooms. But good rooms to stay over whilst working away and such. Found the kingsize bed very comfy, i would definitely stay again, good prices to."
