"4 day stay over Xmas 25 visiting relatives. Best value hotel we could find in the area. It is close to the A44 motorway and on a fairly busy main road but the (ground floor) room was quiet and peaceful, the traffic noise not noticeable. Staff happy helpful and friendly. Everything was working, well maintained with large TV, wifi, free parking. King size bed enormous and comfortable. Good value dinner one evening. We did not use the billiards pool room or the outside terrace. Generous times for checking in/out, breakfast and on site dinner. Relaxed friendly atmosphere."

"Have stayed here many times. Convenient, perfect location and surroundings to relax and meet with all the family who live locally in Oegstgeest. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Handy bus service just outside with transport into Leiden. "

"The room was great! Really warm, awesome bed and bathroom. The reason for the lower scores was breakfast; breakfast is brought in on a tray from an external supplier. The first day was ok, although it’s obvious the tray had sat for a while. When we went to breakfast we found the room was locked and the delivery guy standing outside in the cold (1c) with our breakfast on the tray. At 09:16 (we had asked for breakfast at 09:00 at check-in) a lady turned up to open the door. The breakfast and room were freezing cold but we were hungry and most places in town don’t open until 10am so ate up! There was no apology or explanation offered. So overall, great hotel but I’d recommend you skip breakfast."
