"The facility is a beautiful historic building with picturesque grounds. Unfortunately we were only there for 1 day. Food and wine were terrific and the very busy owners helped us with some very silly requests to operate the radiator and find global news on the TV. I highly recommend this fine hotel!"

"I stayed in one of the cabins and it was so lovely! Clean, cosy and quiet. There is another cabin right next door, and the campervans are just outside, but I didn't notice it at all. A few bits that looked a little neglected, I had to put the shower door seal back on, the bathroom heater had seen better days, and so had the blinds. Check in and check out were simple, and the staff were cheery and happy to help :)"

"A good modern property that provided a comfortable stay for 3 generations of our family. This a spacious and well set out property in easy walking distance of Coniston. The welcome pack was very helpful as were the details of the property and surrounding area. It consists of a large lounge and a kitchen diner that has plenty of room to eat."
