"A small, homely hotel near Sherwood Forest. Comfortable rooms, very clean. A great bar with delicious and high-quality dishes and dinner at reasonable prices. A baby cot is provided upon request of very good quality. I was a little upset when the staff discussed political issues with the guests at the breakfast. "After mentioning an issue with the room first allocated to us upon check-in, we were directed to another room, it was excellent… very spacious, view of the river, very clean and lovely bathroom. We had an excellent night sleep in a huge king size bed, it was lovely and quiet especially after closing time. Looking back at what time we checked in, we could’ve timed it better because it was in the middle of food service in the restaurant and it was very busy, so there was a bit of a wait to check...

"The accommodation was very good. To a high standard and the staff where great. The pub uts self was clean tidy and well set out. The staff again where great. A fantastic breakfast and eveni g meal that I had was very good. I would recommend this place."
