Hot Tub & Mtn Views: Peaceful Columbia Retreat!

Hot Tub & Mtn Views: Peaceful Columbia Retreat!

8/10 Good
"The overall experience was beautiful. The listing was mostly accurate. We gave it a 4 for accuracy to listing due to their use of the words elegant, refined and remodeled. While the house was nicely decorated and the structures were as described the house had more wear and tear than these words might suggest. The appliances were quality brands, but often so well worn that they were difficult to use. It looked like it was remodeled 5- 10 years ago and is in need of some attention (paint peeling on baseboards, deck, half broken hot tub, stained outdoor chair cushions). Overall, great for a family house or summer retreat, but more worn than the elegant, refined and remodeled words convey. It is also in need of a deep clean, with the sofa in need of a vacuuming and the fans showing thick layers of dust. Beautiful view, windows and open spaces. Very close to the historic town of Columbia, we had a great time overall."

Beautiful Updated Home in Downtown Sonora

Beautiful Updated Home in Downtown Sonora

10/10 Excellent
"This home was perfect in every way: updated and clean throughout, lovely outdoor space, thoughtfully appointed kitchen with everything we needed, comfortable beds (with the softest sheets ever), a pack and play for our grandson, beautiful bathrooms, close enough to the downtown area that we could walk there each day. The house was even decorated with fresh red flowers and patriotic items for the 4th of July holiday. And then there were the unanticipated extras, like fresh milk and packets of oatmeal, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, or espresso, as well as numerous games and books to pass the time. We arrived too late to run by a grocery store on our way so these things were very appreciated, as was the generous supply of toiletries and paper goods provided. Peggy was great at communicating with us, and she made check in (and out) a breeze. We will definitely try to stay here again any time that we are back in the Sonora area!"

Historic Home in Downtown Sonora!

10/10 Excellent
"Recently stayed here with some friends on a much needed getaway trip. It was honestly everything I was hoping for and more! I get sort of nervous traveling, especially when I’m not familiar with the area, but this lovely house’s location quickly relaxed me. Parking was a breeze because there was a parking structure right next to the house for all us (three cars total). Downtown is literally right next to the house and everything was walking distance! We were able to grab food and drinks during the night time with ease, and wake up early to go grab coffee and shop at the local stores. The house was incredibly spacious, but still had so much detail and charm. It felt fancy and cozy all at the same time, which made hanging out with company easy going yet still special. We definitely will be booking again and can’t wait to explore some more!"
