"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables ..."

We didn't visit any of the local sights due to a bad back, We spent much of our time in Cockermouth and Lorton. Cockermouth is a lovely small town with lots of great shops and places to eat

Travel light because no help with luggage to the room. Slightly confusing arrangement of the new wings where at the common entrance no room numbers were displayed. If you are vegetarian, food is limited.Pricey, £30 golf voucher not any help to us
