We were staying over Christmas so visiting family on most of the days but able to spend a couple of evenings in the cottage. "The location is great whether you're driving or arrive via train or other transport. The property has an amazing layout and the room was very generous and well equiped. Would definately recommend a stay here. The only thing the hotel needs to keep on top of is the overall cleaniness. There were cobwebs and some of the surfaces where not thatvwell cleaned (possibily an isolated incident). Would still recommend a stay, as this is still a very good hotel to stay at. "
