"Fantastic stay"

"The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house."

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!"

"Clean and comfortable historic inn with fabulous staff and tasty food. I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you!"

"Friendly but unimposing hosts. Lovely food, including the freshly made marmalade. The cooked breakfast was great with a range of cereals and freshly made toast. Off road parking. Lovely large room with emsuite shower."

"This is an excellent family run bed and breakfast in the centre of Tavistock. The room was spacious and even though the room was facing the road, I could not hear any traffic. The location was excellent and I loved the character of the road and houses. I would visit again."

"Highly recommend staying here, friendly and accommodating staff, great beer and food. Had a great nights stay in Porlock, had a right crack with the locals, will definitely be back."
