Not worth the price they charge and the offerings are just as common an a below average pub menu. Even the burgers were ‘meh’ according to my teens. My Caesar salad was even less tasteful. Restaurant aside, the grounds and facilities were fantastic! "

"We booked a room with a patio, knowing the weather was going to be good, so it was lovely to be able to sit outside and look at the beautiful scenery. It was midweek during the Easter school break but the spa facilities were quiet which was nice and we swam and sunbathed 2 days in a row. Restaurant was good including breakfast and dinner. Staff all lovely. "

"Only stayed one night, standard room not sure what to expect. However, no water bottle given was a shock as that seems to be a basic supply from all hotels. The room shape was awkward, slanted ceiling meant bumping your head over your bed is very possible especially for older people or those who can be clumsy! The heater made some strange noise occasionally and can certainly affect those who are sensitive to noise or light sleeper. Didn’t use any of the facilities so cannot comment. We arrived early but wasn’t allowed to check in until 3pm! Breakfast was ok, had to wait for resupply of food as ran out quickly.. minimum choice options. "
