Cons: Room freezing to start with! (heating had not been put on), bed matress not for those with a bad back, council bin run at 5am and local building works very noisy (not hotel's fault), staff did not inform us that breakfast slot had a 10 minute limit - arrived at 9.10am to be told too late and would not be served!!!!! How rude. Over all would try again in the summer perhaps, if other city center hotels were full. Fantastic pub and a wonderful place to stay. The bedrooms have been refurbished to a very high standard, beautiful comfy bed and very clean. Fantastic breakfast.
