"Not a friendly welcome at all! Hotels in need of some TLC, rooms way too warm but you can’t control the heat individually & opening a window meant being kept awake all night by the busy street below, even had police outside until early hours, just not a great location to stay & hotel is old & sad with miserable staff!"

"Basic room with a comfy bed. Perfect for my one night stay, lovely part of town with nice Sushi restaurant close by and cafes etc. Room was clean, no hairdryer, but I didn't ask, maybe there was one I could have got from reception. Thin walls, man next door snoring loudly and I could hear his loud conversation on the telephone! I will definitely come again though, good price and being clean was my priority."

"The room was clean and amazing as i stayed at the abbey room which is one of the penthouse which I highly highly recommend to stay at if you want a truly unforgettable experience and it was worth it . The room is spacious , bathroom was lush and the best part was the balcony view which had an amazing view . The only let down was there was only a few limited channels on the tv as it was outdated and couldn't connect my phone to the tv which was the only let down but me and my partner loved the whole stay , the room and there is parking which is great if you want a hotel with parking and it is free lots of spaces to park . Highly recommend to stay if you want to escape to the country side ."
