"Staff were pleasant. My issues were no easy walkways for stroller and luggage from curb side. Everything had to be lifted up or down a few flights of stairs to get to main lobby. Other than that it was an excellent stay."

"Great location. Felt a bit smaller compared to the pics I saw online. Free water bottles provided throughout the stay, which was a good gesture. Better to go with valet parking even when it’s paid for peace of mind. Walking distance to Eaton mall with 400+ shops and two large food courts to visit when weather doesn’t cooperate."

"The staff are nice especially when we handed them our luggage for storage before check in. There were technical difficulties on the elevator going to the 12th floor which we have reported to the front desk multiple times. The alarm beeps every 10 seconds making it a bit hard to sleep. For some reason we have only been provided housekeeping services for the first 3 days and not the last three; thus, we didnt receive any refill for the following: kleenex, handsoap, and plastic bag for the trash and recycling this is despite leaving prior to checkout time to allow for housekeeping to hit our room. The facility was nice, the room was comfortable and the bed was good, but that elevator alarm still kept us up. We were advised the issue would be fixed on monday (when reporting it on sunday) but when we came back monday night it was still there. They offered us another room but we already settled in and had sprawled out so we tried to ignore it. Nonetheless, the staff are accommodating and apart from the issue with the alarm as well as the lack of housekeeping services, our stay was great."

"Super convenient, affordable location! A great deal for staying right downtown. The good: Big rooms, nice building. Right by both the PATH and a streetcar,so super convenient to get down to tourist attractions. Easy to get adjoining rooms if you're traveling with kids. Neutral: Remember that it's a dorm, so there aren't some of the amenities you might be used to in a hotel: no TV, fridge, or coffeemaker in the rooms. There are cooking and TV lounges available on other floors. Also parking in the neighborhood is a bit inconvenient/expensive. The bad: Absolutely the worst designed bathrooms I've ever experienced. Tiny shower stall with no shelves to put anything, towel hooks are a mile away, sink is weirdly set up so everything rolls into it. I would be so mad if I were a student who had to put up with it for a whole year! I would definitely not recommend that anyone with accessibility needs stay here, bc of the bathrooms. Overall this was a great place to stay with kids and I'm so glad I found it! If you know what you're getting into it can be a great homebase while you explore Toronto."
