"Spa was amazing, I had a back massage which was so nice. The rooms could do with a bit of a touch up as some of the decor is bit tired now. Also Air conditioning would be a benefit we did have a fan but the room was so hot."

"It was my third stay and Frimley Hall provided excellent experience as always. Great massages, helpful staff, serene surroundings. Would be great to see wider choice of wines and spirits in the bar - many wineries, breweries and cider producers in the area but nothing close to local at the bar."

"Lovely pool area for children and adult areas in the spa. It was really busy with a lot of spa guests we couldn’t get anywhere to sit and realised when we left that spa guests had rudely left wet towels on the loungers after they’d left making us think they were taken. The entrance hall is lovely but has stairs whichever way you enter which is odd when they know people will bring cases. The rooms are really dated but clean. Our lamps didn’t work by the window, only half the room could be lit up. We had a family room with 2 single beds set up, one had a mattress and topper, the other just a topper so it sunk down without any weight on. We asked reception twice to rectify it but they didn’t. Breakfast was lovely and the waiting staff were excellent and polite. This is our 2nd visit, not as good as our first one and I don’t think we’d return, sorry"

"The ‘mandatory’ online check in and codes for bedroom doors were a bit of a faff but the hotel has been significantly upgraded and the decor is very tasteful."

"We arrived for a 3 oclock checkin and the room wasnt ready. There was no forewarning and we were told come back in an hour and mayb e it might be ready then!! We had to leave our luggage, coulddnt get changed into clothing for going out, and randomly kill an hour in Guildford! Ruined the experience"
