"My 3 daughters and I stayed one night here on a road trip. We had a suite which was not connected to the main hotel but in a quaint, hidden lot. The area was well lit and felt safe enough. The single beds were a bit uncomfortable with a hard bar across the center. The bathrooms were nice and clean with nice a shower and large tub. Check-in was quick and easy, and the desk staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the website states there is on-site laundry facilities but we were told that is false. When we asked about nearby services, we were told “I’m not from this area, so I don’t know.” (Wouldn’t be a big deal normally but we were in the middle of a driving trip and needed to do some wash.) Overall our stay was very nice."

"I have never been treated so poorly as at this hotel. Upon arrival staff were generally unwelcoming, just gave me my key and that was that. Later I came down to request milk for my room, the person I spoke with audibly sighed and huffed and puffed to go get it. Upon return he said there was no milk. I expressed my disappointment as I really wanted a cuppa (having been hiking all day). Walked off expressing disappointment to myself to which he then shouted WHAT ARE YOU SAYING! I carried on walking as his voice was very intimidating to which he further shouted across the pub in front of diners SAY WHAT YOUR SAYING TO MY FACE! I was forced to address him to say all I was saying to myself was my disappointment and that he shouldn't be speaking with a paying customer at his hotel in such a way. Went to my room and barricaded myself in. Felt so uncomfortable there I got up early and left so I wouldn't have to see him again. As a solo female traveller he may me feel very intimidated. Completely unacceptable behaviour. It's a shame as the room itself was fairly nice and comfortable with nice views."

"The room we had was in poor condition. One of the mattress was so soft which can not support anything. There was only one roof window, poor ventilation. We had to keep it open, noisy outside. After the flush of the toilet, we need to wait for a very long time to have another flush. The shower was not very good either. The swing bar lock did not work. The carpet looks dirty. The breakfast was very so so, very limited choices of fruit. Their staff are friendly. However, I will never go back and not recommend to others."

"It was a clean and budget friendly hotel, it had no aircon or fans so it was unbearable to sleep at night in hot weather. Had everything I needed but couldn’t wait to get out the room."

"Would have given a 5 star review but unfortunately neither me or my wife could have a shower, water would only come out at super hot no matter how I tried to ad cold it just stayed boiling hot. Both had to wash in the sink as a consequence. We were in room 6"
