Really friendly, helpful staff. Elegant hotel and we all really enjoyed exploring the maze and the beautiful gardens.

Fantastic 2 night stay in the family room with our 20 month old daughter. Friendly staff, convenient parking, lovely food and drinks, and a delicious breakfast. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend and return!

The back road is a worm hole in space time connecting Bebbanberg with Paris, Texas. Purdy Lodge is lying low and as you crackle along the gravel through the truck-stop it would be no surprise to see Travis squinting into the low winter sun as he shambles past the all night gas station into the drug store to get some ice. Stayed Sunday/Monday - excellent welcome and room. Had an evening meal and breakfast. The food choice is very good and the quality of the food served was excellent. The staff are really friendly and professional and could not do enough to help you. In terms of access to some of Northumberland's best coastline you cannot have a better location. Everything and more than we hoped for.

Very clean.great breakfasts. Superb hospitality. Very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend. Could not fault this superb B and B

.

A very enjoyable few days

Staff particularly friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet hotel, right next to the castle. Everything was beautifully decorated, would definitely recommend!

Excellent service with the food absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend. On a small note my wife who is partially sighted could not clearly see some of the steps when going down the stairs due to the pattern of the carpet. This however was the only issue with the rest of hotel/ pub be excellently set out and presented. Breakfast was also exquisite. Overall a 5 star stay just make the stairs down more visible for anyone who is visually impaired.

Wonderful stay Beautiful place

Fantastic location and b&b, we stayed in the lodge and it was beautiful, fantastic couple who run it with good access to local areas to visit such as lindisfarn, bamburgh. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this b&b. The breakfast was excellent

The bar & outside area was really good. Lovely beer garden. Staff were very friendly. We did not have breakfast but Dinner menu had a good selection of very tasty food.
