I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. Nice hotel, friendly and helpfu staff, decent food
"We had a very nice stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel. We stayed for two nights. We arrived really late on our first night, with only 5 minutes left until they stopped doing dinner, but it was no problem to get us in for food. We were very grateful as we had a five year old with us who was very hungry! The food was very tasty and enjoyable. Check-in was smooth and everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and bright, and we overall had no issues however the shower wasn't the best and could benefit from updating. The hotel was perfect for our stay as we visited Wookey Hole Caves whilst there before moving on up country the second day. We were very happy with our stay for the price, and would probably stay there again if we were in the area. "
