No bells and whistles, but comfy and welcoming.

"We arrived late after a long drive but were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The hotel is comfy with friendly staff and a nice continental breakfast. It's a good place if you need to break a long journey, but not perhaps what you would choose as a holiday destination. It was fine for us, so thank you!"
