"Never stayed in a better hotel - the vibes were incredible! It’s such quiet luxury and the staff CANNOT do enough for you! There is no pressure to do anything, it’s calm literally everywhere you go & it never felt busy at all. Breakfast options were amazing & the food when we ate in restaurants was also amazing! We are already trying to figure out when we can come back"

"We have not given a 5 star for the following reasons: - No quiet pool/areas in hotel for adults only. This would be easy to do with the pool on one of the levels. - Breakfast very busy and had to wait in line for several minutes for table. - On first day at breakfast we were not introduced to how things worked, just left to figure it out. - At breakfast sometimes tea/coffee arrived and sometimes it did not. - As a 5 star hotel I would have expected a fresh omelette station at breakfast. - Design of hotel has flaws … as quite a few apartments have their own private pool or hot tub I think there is the assumption that theses will be used to free up the main pools for apartments without private pools but this is not the case as we stayed directly above apartments with private pools and private pools were hardly used with those families going to the main pools thus meaning that there was the age old problem of limited sun beds and bed blockers with towels and no supervision of this. Pools too small for size of hotel with not enough beds. Not a 5 star hotel in our opinion."

Royal Garden Villas & Spa

"I'll start by saying that our expectations were far exceeded. Admittedly, as a US based traveling couple, we had never heard of Royal Garden Villas previously and simply found this property through the use of AI and comparisons to Bali. Once we arrived, we were delighted with our reception and check-in process, the first walk through of the room and exterior patio were better than any pictures on the internet, and we kept it simple our first night and ordered room service. Our first morning, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast, with plenty of options to satisfy the pickiest of palates. And we noticed on subsequent mornings, the buffet menu changed, keeping it from becoming predictable and even making it a little exciting to see what what was new that morning. Housekeeping was quick and complete, never intruding upon our time in our villa. Room service was often delivered ahead of the promised time. Although this property is not directly located on the shoreline, it is within 5 to 10 minutes via taxi. The benefit of this is that we were able to escape the busy parts of Adeje and La Caleta but had ready access to restaurants whenever we felt like venturing out. And the views from the villas, across the golf course and towards both the city lights and shoreline more than made up for our distance from the water. This is a peaceful and quiet property. Its a great option for couples. We hope to return one day as we will always cherish our memories from this trip."

"Stayed 14 nights. Modern, spacious, panoramic mountain & sea views. Infinity pool a real highlight. Car essential. Resorts 15 minutes drive. Approach to the villa involves hairpin bends. Taxis to resorts approx 22. Villa generally peaceful, conversations from neighbouring property can sometimes be heard & owner’s home is in the grounds. Weather was 2-5c cooler than the coast, some days too cold to sit out. Beds comfortable, showers good pressure. TV : Netflix, Prime & YouTube. 1 x hand & bath towel each and were quite worn. No bedding change. Expect to buy your own laundry & cleaning essentials. Showers began draining poorly after first week. Owner responded promptly & resolved. Pool was cold on arrival despite our request for heating. Technical problems meant it took 3 days to warm up. Alessandro responded to the issues & waived the charge. Broken pool cover & cold overnight temperatures meant the pool never quite heated to its potential temperature. Week 2, we encountered a cockroach in the kitchen. We reported this to Alessandro, who stated this was normal in a rural location in Tenerife. We were disappointed that no remedial action was offered and that his response lacked reassurance on his prevention tactics. Overall, the villa has many positives: wonderful views, plenty space, good value & a lovely pool. We enjoyed our 1st week so much we decided to book again. However, sadly the cockroach incident and the response have changed our minds."

"The apartments are huge with large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, kettle and toaster all in excellent condition. We had a three bedroom apartment which had so much space and storage. Balcony looking out over the sea had 6 sunbeds and table and chairs for 8 with still loads of space! Entertainment team of Emma, Nicola and Dianna helped make the holiday with their fun and enthusiasm. Large resort so does mean some rooms are quite a bit from the pool but the views are worth it. Friendly helpful staff on reception also."
