We needed to book a reservation last minute and they had availability for us. Staff was very kind and understanding, the property was nice, didn’t meet as many people with it being a hostel, but enjoyed being there.

Really nice private room with true king sized bed

I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a deluxe private room upon check in. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Would 100% recommend.

Top stay at Selina Cartagena

We very much enjoyed this hotel. Best quality/price in Cartagena. Very well located in Getsemani but 5 min wal to Centro Historico. Great patio. Friendly staff. Very nice decor and design. We had a suite on the second floor. I highly recommand.

Location is perfect! 2 roof top pool options. Rooms are smallish but clean and nice. The common areas are nice and open. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Very close to the Walled City and other must see spots.

Room was amazing, only downside is that the cleaning service of the rooms was very slow, one day they didn’t come at all so we had to request it and then it was done promptly, otherwise clean and comfortable rooms. Great location and atmosphere

Super social hostel in the heart of Getsemani. “Micro rooms” are great value for money and surprisingly spacious. Wifi is strong too. Minor criticisms include the painful check-in process - I’ve opened bank accounts quicker - and the prices for drinks are way too high for a hostel. Fortunately all the cool street bars are right on your doorstep so this wasn’t an issue for us. Would recommend!

Lovely hostel in Getsemani

Everything from hostels side was great, except they didnt have my booking which was done via Expedia. My first and last time with Expedia. Luckily the hostel had free room and I didnt have to go find another place to stay in. Music can be heard in the room so if u r a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Also the rooftop terrace was out of use, which was a bummer. Other than that, 5/5.

Worst hotel ever. I had to check out and leave our room to change room during my stay and they had no room available so i had no room between 11.00 and 16.00, even though i paid for it. Did not get any compensation for it either. Don't get fooled by the pictures.

Far from our expectations

We had booked a rather expensive private standard room. The room we recieved was nothing like the pictures on the website. Small space without a window that smelled like mold. We asked to change room which took the staff over an hour and they were not very friendly. The hostel is noisy at night time and full of drunk teenagers

Bad smell and rooms with no windows

The room we stayed had no windows and it smelled really bad. At the hotel they took a long time to change rooms and even the new room was not working. The AC was leaking and it also had a very bad smell. For the price I would expect something better.

The room was extremely dirty, I found trash stashed between the wall and side table. Smelled a bit moldy, there was dust by the bed. Customers service was the horrendous. People there don’t acknowledge your existence and they rather socialize among themselves rather than the guest. They are loud and you can hear them in your room. Overall, I had a horrible experience and I would not recommend this property.

What a bad experience 1. Dirty shower. Hairs all over the shower 2. No space between toilet and wall. Had to sit down with open legs 3. Uncomfortable pillows 4. Guard at night was super rude and disrespectful 5. Extremely loud at night. You could hear all the hallway and neighbors. Conclusion: never going back to a hole like this

Perfekt bis auf die extrem laute Terrassen -Musik

Beste Lage in Cartagena, zentral aber nicht zu dicht am Nachtleben. Wir hatten das Luxus Zimmer mit Fenstern, tolles Riesen Bett, Schreibtisch, geräumig. Sauber und alles funktioniert. Aufzug. Das Hotel hat ein gutes Frühstücksangebot. Alle Angestellten sehr nett. Wir hatten einen späten Flug aus Cartagena und konnten die Gemeinschaftsräume den ganzen Tag nutzen. Schöne dachtterasse. Einziger Nachteil: auf der Terrasse wird oft ab der Mittagszeit und insbesondere am Wochenende so laute Musik gespielt, dass man sich kaum unterhalten, lesen oder gar arbeiten kann. Schade!
