The Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa

"The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The views are exceptional. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had one of the larger rooms it was very specious and well appointed. A couple of minor points for improvement is that the water pressure was very low in our rooms and while we were there is was very unseasonably warm and with no screens the bugs do come in. Otherwise a great place to stay with a good restaurant and bar."

"The hosts could not have made us feel more welcome when we arrived. Darren and Karen are a wealth of information about places to go and see, locally and around Scotland. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Quiet surroundings made our stay very peaceful. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We will not hesitate to stay here again should we be visiting the area."

The ultimate secluded Holiday Cottage

"We stayed last May and returned this year. Excellent location and utter peace and quiet. Remember to check with the company about the heating, it was quite cold when we were there and you need to contact them to turn up the heating as it is controlled remotely by the owners. Otherwise a delightfully peaceful week, lovely walks nearby and would recommend Eeusk restaurant on the harbour, lovely food and great staff."

Melfort House

"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a day trip to nearby Oban, which should not be missed, particularly for the seafood and Oban Distillery tour. Thank you Matthew for the opportunity to stay; we will long remember it."
