"Had a delightful two night stay in this wonderful B&B with the most fabulous hosts Jan and Daz who made the visit extra special. The peaceful extensive garden with enchanting secluded spots to read , relax and enjoy the views add to the charm . Staying here is a memorable experience and one we would love to repeat. A few minutes walk to the Oyster Bar and Restaurant and to the ferry to Easdale make it's situation perfect."

"Beautiful setting along a long single track. Lovely grounds. Huge rooms, quite dated but clean with nice views. We had Matthews 4 course meal which was nice but quite expensive. Straight forward breakfast. Guest lounge, looking towards Loch. Small tv in room."

The ultimate secluded Holiday Cottage

The ultimate secluded Holiday Cottage

8/10 Good
"Tigh Beg is a complete one-off. The location and setting of the cottage is just perfect. Days spent on the patio, watching the sea, hearing the birds and basking in the tranquil setting just pass by effortlessly. Seals, otters, sea eagles, buzzards and sea birds frequently join you throughout the day, along with wonderful birdsong from all the trees and shrubs surrounding you. The property is well equipped for 4 people staying and is in generally very clean and tidy. Having the porch with dishwasher is a bonus as you are remote and need to bring plenty of supplies and cook a lot of the time. Nearby Oban is charming and offers all you will need for shopping and fresh food. Small gripe would be the lack of cover or shade on the patio which is full sun for most of the day. Thoroughly recommend!"

Inn at Port nan Gael

Inn at Port nan Gael

10/10 Excellent
"Located between Craignure and Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull. Situated by the road looking onto the sea. The Inn is a popular place to eat as the restaurant was busy. The owner showed us our room which was large, clean, tidy and warm. The super king sized bed was comfortable, shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The room was quiet even though the restaurant was busy. The breakfast is self service, £10 per person, and it does take a while to find where everything is but once sorted it is adequate. If you can’t make the last ferry to Iona then this is the perfect place to spend the night."
