"We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at The Rising Sun in lovely St. Mawes. The food was excellent, we had Sunday roast lunch, starters plus breakfast the next day - all delicious. Our room was extremely comfortable with a huge bed and good ensuite shower room. Liked the coffee machine and large flat screen TV. Will hopefully stay again in the future."

"This gorgeous pub/B&B, The Kings Arms is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I booked a weekend stay here (Friday to Monday) as a base whereby we could easily access attractions and nearby places we wanted to visit ie the Minack theatre, St Michaels mount, Mousehole and Penzance. The Kings Arms is located in Paul and is only a short walking distance to Mousehole. We had come down by train from Newton Abbot and during our stay we were able to use a local bus from Mousehole to get to Penzance bus...

"I stayed here for three nights and it was superb. A great spacious room overlooking the village square. Superb hosts who can’t do enough for you to make your stay as enjoyable as they can. Great food and a good choice available every day. Quality staff all very helpful. Great location with plenty to see and do in the locality. Well worth a visit - highly recommended."

"Lovely welcome, fantastic view from room 7 and the bird book and binoculars definitely came in handy. Disappointed that the excellent food at dinner could not be tried at breakfast - arrangements were offered to eat next door but we were so full from the night before we didn’t bother. "Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."

"Ian was very helpful given Vrbo platform comms was awful (App may be better). Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too. Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay."
