This is a lovely, friendly hotel to stay at in Redruth with easy access to many places in South Cornwall, with the benefit of its own swimming pool as well. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Superb grounds, and views over to St Ives and the sea.worthy of stately home gardens. Fabulous building, great food and comfortable room if tired, single glazed, blinds broken and hot water system not up to standard. If sorted it could be 5*. Very steep walk to the beech and town

Very welcoming staff comfortable amenities great location decked out nicely with Christmas decorations hearty breakfast with a lovely view on two sunny mornings all in all highly recommended.

Hotel was perfect mix of hospitality and infirmity. Friendly staff, excellent food, clean rooms, thoughtful little touches like the stock of Wellington boots and nightly hot water bottles and stunning views of the sea.

The staff, the warm welcome, the bar and the food were all excellent. Great service and we felt completely at home. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you would need.

The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much.ch trouble. The food was excellent, a highlight being breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view out to sea. The bedroom was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom as well.

This was just the best experience. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, the views amazing, and the greatest chef in Aaron Janes. I had the best nights of my life in an incredibly comfortable bed and a superb room. Can't wait to go back there! A huge thank you to Alan and all his staff for making my stay so very special. Loved the "reception" being met in the lounge by lovely staff with a tablet to check us in... and a glass of champain and truffles. The food was superb. A limited vegitarian menue however thye offered to add more to the menue the following nights. They could not have been more helpfull

I stayed at the here for 7 nights and it was by far one of my favorite holidays thanks to Pentire Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly which made my first ever visit to Cornwall very relaxing. The food was lovely, the room, leisure areas were very clean as well. I have already recommended the hotel to my friends and family and will recommend it to anyone visiting Newquay and wish to have a relaxing holiday.

Lovely clean and spacious room - great decorative order and loved the sea view and complimentary gin. Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff and fantastic valet parking.

We were upgraded to a spa sea view double room as it was my partner’s birthday. So very kind and thoughtful and the room’s amazing and definitely has the wow factor! It was warm and sunny - so, the view was at it very best! Absolutely stunning!
