I stay in a lot of hotels with my work trips and this is one of the best if not the best place to stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm, helpful and happy check in. What a great place to stay - a real home from home. Excellent hosts - Paul and Chantelle could not have made us feel more welcome. Very clean, good breakfast, great location, parking - everything we needed and more.

Lovely new modern decor, spotlessly tidy room and bathroom, great location, really quiet at night, yummy breakfast, really really friendly helpful staff, only problem was we could only get one night as they were booked!

First morning at breakfast it was a little disappointing, we went down at 9am and the buffet was basically gone! We went down earlier the next couple of days and it was so much better. Room was perfect, and the area was great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the old jail, so many of the original features with a modern feel. Breakfast was incredible, best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and the continental selection was amazing.

The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful views, warm welcome, exceptional service. Staff could not do enough for you providing helpful guidance on activities in the area. Cannot recommend enough, just a note on parking facilities they are a challenge.

Hotel was perfect mix of hospitality and infirmity. Friendly staff, excellent food, clean rooms, thoughtful little touches like the stock of Wellington boots and nightly hot water bottles and stunning views of the sea.

Great little find. Nothing really local in terms of walking distance, but well equipped rooms with double glazing, heating and air con, comfy beds and friendly service. Fantastic food that locals travel specifically for - would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway.

Comfy beds & spotless room!..Delicious breakfast, although hubby not too keen on the sausages my boiled eggs were cooked to perfection...Very friendly hosts..an all round great stay!...

Peace and tranquility. Excellent service, good food, helpful staff. easy reach of town on foot.

The cafe was excellent, overlooking the beach. The menu was simple, pizzas, burgers, fish and chips but well cooked. We ate there on the first night of our stay and thought it so enjoyable that it wouldn't be bettered by driving in search of somewhere else on our next nights

This was just the best experience. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, the views amazing, and the greatest chef in Aaron Janes. I had the best nights of my life in an incredibly comfortable bed and a superb room. Can't wait to go back there! A huge thank you to Alan and all his staff for making my stay so very special.
