"Stayed overnight. The hotel has maintained its traditional/original look in the exterior and lobby but appears to have modernized the rooms. Quiet, comfortable stay. Within walking distance of the sites I looked to visit. I was assisted by Emily in checking in and making queries. She and the team were welcoming and helpful."

"We loved the location of the State Plaza. So close to the Lincoln Memorial by walking. Loved the quiet neighborhood. The staff were very nice. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but most required an Uber. The room was neat and clean and the nearly full size kitchen was honestly a surprise. Furnished with dishes and all. We really liked the feel of the room."

"Hands down, the best in the area. Close enough to all the attractions, far enough away from the ghettos that you don't feel in fear of losing all your possessions or vehicle. The staff was amazing- we had a Karen come in and start complaining about people throwing away their food. They politely listened and made the Karen feel her view had merit, insulating the rest of the customers from this toxic manager seeking wierdo. "
