Nice hotel within walking distance of many restaurants and Washington DC sites. Every one of the hotel staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was not large but very clean and comfortable. The AC worked extremely well on a hot summer day. The restaurant offers a nice variety. The pool area is spacious.
Very quiet, clean rooms. Very helpful staff.
My only concern (and its a mild niggle) was that the room was clearly booked for 3 guests, but the towels/glasses etc were provided for 2. While the hotel rushed to get us extra glasses when asked, it would have been nice if they also provided extra glasses the following day instead of room service removing them. Same for towels. Parking was expensive (as always in central DC) - I thought parking was included in my room rate, but at check-out I had to pay for another day.
Otherwise, it was a very nice hotel.
My husband, 7yr old son and I enjoyed our stay at the Quincy. All the staff was excellent, especially Manny. The rooms were good size with comfortable beds, small kitchen area (which was appreciated) and two closet areas. I had read reviews that the bathroom was too small, but it was worth it to have the separate vanity. The only downside was the police and ambulance sirens throughout the night, but I don't fault the Quincy for that. The best part (besides the service) was the location. Close to the metro and many great places to eat. We would definitely stay there again.
My partner and I stayed here for our 8 year anniversary vacation and we can't say enough wonderful things about it. From the amazing staff to the wonderfully comfortable and cozy room. If you are staying in DC stay at the One Washington Circle Hotel! You won't be disappointed!
Pocket Guide: Washington Downtown Washington D.C. Hotels
Downtown DC is awash with culture. The Smithsonian Institution museum complex flanks the National Mall. The Washington Monument bisects the Mall, just south of the White House. Federal agency headquarters house bureaucrats of varying stripes. Moneyed and powerful lobbyists help create (and quash) laws from K Street. Chinatown and the Washington Convention Center lie east of downtown.
