Mostly due to its vicinity to the airport for a late or early flight. This time I felt I was completely overcharged for my specific room 118\. The kitchen extraction fan is right outside and very noisy! Kitchen cleanup late at night was very disturbing. Furthermore staff strarted slamming doors from 5 am did not help either. Overall not a good rest as it was supposed to be for the rate charged. Very disappointed. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we were treated like royalty and every whim was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our beautiful rooms had excellent views of Table Mountain and two restaurants on site offered excellent food options, with the Bombay Brasserie a must visit. The bar too is an excellent place to unwind after a long day. I can’t say enough about the staff …..everyone from the front desk, concierge, doormen, bar & restaurant staff always had smiles on their faces and were eager to please. We have stayed here before and will certainly do so again.
