"We signed up for daily housekeeping. The first day, they gave us clean towels but did not make the bed. They took our opened soap but did not replace it. They took our “out of shower mat”, but did not leave a clean one. They did take the tip we had left. We asked at the desk for a replacement mat but they never got us one. The next day, the cleaning person did the bed, gave us towels, a mat, soap. (We never complained but had dealt with it that first day). Also the “in the shower gel” was empty when we got there and the cleaning crew never checked it. Fortunately, we bring our own. The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, roomy. The breakfast area tables could be cleaner, some were sticky. There was a warm breakfast. We appreciated the availability of cold water and hot coffee. We appreciated being able to meet with our group in the breakfast area at the end of the day. My review may sound negative but overall it was a very good experience and I would recommend the hotel. It was very quiet for sleeping and very comfortable. Plenty of parking too. It was only one cleaning day that was poor."

"The staff were really helpful. I didn’t have utensils and they provide me with some, going above and beyond. my room was spot clean. The showerhead was very strong which I liked. Water was very warm, which was an added plus for uconn. it’s so close inconvenient to uconn storrs. I had a perfect one night day for an important business meeting that I had the morning after. I have been here before and I would definitely stay here again. The only thing off this time was body wash dispenser was empty but not enough to give it less than 5-star rating though."

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Uncasville Mohegan Sun Area

"We had a king suite. It was clean & nice to have a little area to watch tv that wasn’t on the bed. The only thing that wasn’t excellent was the lighting in the bathroom. It was hard to put mascara on without decent light. The shower was hot enough. There was plenty of storage and a safe in the room. Breakfast was the usual stuff scrambled eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. good variety and everything was plentiful. The hours for breakfast are 6:30-9:30. That’s a little early to rise when you’ve been out late 😳. The shuttle was a wonderful perk. You just call And it takes you to Mohegan, when you’re done, you call and it comes back to get you. We went to see Brandon Lake and it was very convenient and free. If we ever go back to that area we will stay there again."
