"We were very pleased with our room after booking last minute. We had a large living area which was very cosy. We requested a travel cot which was ready in the room waiting with sheets and blankets. The cot unfortunately would not fit in our bedroom, so we positioned it against the back of the sofa outside our bedroom door. We did have to use blankets to block the breeze coming through the bottom of the door as it was close to the cot but this worked fine. The breakfast in the morning was nice, as a pescatarian I would have loved the option to have the cooked breakfast minus the meat, but the veggie options were still good. The river alongside is really lovely. we had planned to go for a run in the morning but there were no routes that avoided running along unpaved roads. We did not use the spa facilities as this wouldn't work having our baby with us.We will definitely stay here again when visitng my sister nearby! "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, parking was easy and convenient. My only disappointment was I got the wrong room when I paid for an upgrade to have a bath rather than a shower. By the time I noticed, all the rooms were full. It's not my job to check I was given the right room and surely should have had a discount given the cost of the room."

"Great location. Property with character and mostly comfortable. Because of the old building if you’re tall then be careful…lots of low ceilings and doorways. Very friendly staff throughout. Nice restaurant and a bar. "
