Find Hotels with Hot Tubs in Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks

"Owners of the hotel, please read this review. I visit Canmore at least once a month with my toddler, and this was our second trip in two weeks. This time, I chose a more budget-friendly option (around $185 for a Saturday night), so I kept my expectations low. That said, the experience was disappointing. The room felt very outdated, and I found several dark hairs on the shower walls and even on top of the bathroom door. I understand housekeeping can miss things, but it still doesn’t feel good as a guest. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were also very old and worn. There was no microwave in the room, which was inconvenient with a child...I later found one in the shared laundry room. Not a dealbreaker, but not ideal either. The TV remotes were greasy and sticky; I had to clean them myself. The chairs looked extremely worn, one with a visible white stain, giving the impression they were past their usable life. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and appeared clean. However, the biggest concern was finding a small bug in the bed in the morning. I initially feared it might be a bed bug. Later, I developed three large, itchy bites on one leg. I can’t say with certainty they came from that bug, but the situation was unsettling and unpleasant. The staff were friendly and kind, which I appreciated. But overall, the property needs attention: better cleanliness, updated furniture, and proper pest control. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning."

"Parking was a nightmare. There are not many parking spaces and guests had to park on the sidewalks but were blocking cars from being able to get out. It was a free for all. The hot tub was packed during the entire stay (morning, daytime, and nighttime) with groups of partiers. Management did nothing about the parking or the hot tub. The unit is older but well-equipped. When booking for 4 guests, the website did not indicate that everyone was staying in the same bedroom. Poor value for the money spent."

"Beautiful hotel and stunning location. Gatehouse room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. Close to downtown, easy to walk to, but they offer a complimentary bus/shuttle which we appreciated on the cold cold evenings."
