"My family and I spent a few days in Santanyí and we are so thankful we found Ca Ses Mestres. It is right by the beach, the steps down being right next to the house- they even have a gate in the back with private access to the steps. The house itself was lovely, as were the hosts. They were clear about house rules (which were very standard), showed us everything we needed and even checked in throughout to make sure we didn’t need anything. Cannot recommend booking here enough! "

"Pros: Ein großzügiges Haus mit viel Platz für 6 Personen. Selten eine so gut eingerichtete Küche gesehen. Andres ist ein überaus aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der innerhalb von Minuten auf WhatsApp-Nachrichten reagiert. Sowohl das Haus als auch die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in der Villa Torre. Cons: Nichts. Außer dem Wetter, aber dafür kann der Gastgeber Andres nichts ;-)"

"We had a blast! The house is great, and we especially loved the pool. The kitchen is very complete in terms of cooking equipment. Bedrooms were basic, but good. The location is great as well; there is land the size of a couple of football fields between the house and the nearest neighbour. "Room was a decent size with balcony and a nice view. Breakfast buffet was good and had a wide variety. I was under the impression hotel would have loungers on the beach, but had to purchase. I give it a 3 for the lack of cleaning in the room and pool, and no parking. They only made the beds and changed towels for the 4 days. Floors were dirty with sand from day 1. We didn’t swim in the pool due to lots of bugs and debris. Had to park far on the street."

"For a well travelled long haul couple, we were anxious that Mallorca would give us what we wanted from a holiday. We wanted peace and quiet, no crowds in a lovely unspoilt spot. The Barefoot in Portocolom delivered in all respects. The hotel is lovely - understated but with all amenities to hand. The staff are lovely - nothing is too much trouble. We had an issue with the room we were originally allocated but this was remedied very quickly and efficiently and we enjoyed the lovely touch of a bottle of bubbles as way of an apology for the inconvenience. I think the mark of a good holiday/hotel is if you ask yourself at the end of your stay, if you’d come back. If the answer is ‘yes’ you know the hotel is doing something right. We would definitely return. Muchos gracias."

"I really enjoyed my stay at ICON Valparaíso in Mallorca. The staff were very helpful, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay, and the views from the hotel were incredible. One of the best hidden gems was the pathway that connects the hotel to a nearby beach — it was only about a 5-minute walk, which made it so easy and convenient. The breakfast was honestly one of the best parts of the stay and had a great selection. One thing I would note: if you have food allergies, I would be cautious with the lunch and dinner options. I did have an allergic reaction during my stay, but the staff were very accommodating and helpful when it happened. I would also recommend renting a car or planning transportation ahead of time, as taxis in the area can be limited and expensive. Overall, it was a beautiful hotel with amazing views, kind staff, and a peaceful location. if you're looking for something relaxing, this is the spot."

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were all lovely and helpful. It was a bit too child-focused for us, with lots of activities and entertainment geared towards families. The food wasn’t really to my taste, although I’m probably fussier than most. Overall, a good option for families with young children."
