Very difficult to enter the property many times waiting outside for long periods for someone open the door and when It’s hot it’s not great. Breakfast offer was very poor and they provide breakfast as small rations. We arranged a premium Interior on arrival we were told we were upgraded to an outside room. The room was so noisy it was basically like being on the street outside. I imagine someone else complained and got moved and we ended up In this room. Would not stay here again there are much better choices in Barcelona.

The lady at the front desk (Fernandina) was very nice and helpful, who made our stay in Barcelona exceptional and memorable. My wife and I found your hotel browsing through Expedia by chance. We're very glad we found Dorma Catalonia Plaza hotel, which has a great location in the city! The morning buffet is excellent. Amazing central location! Very central, no breakfast but surrounded by cheap nice bakeries. Very friendly staff, good AC and shower. Big 4 bedded room with our teenagers worked well. Comfy beds and clean linen, 24 hrs access very handy! All hostel amenities like kitchen, lounge, washing machine etc but we had private bathroom and didn't really use anything else.
