I have visited this hotel on more than a dozen occasions for lunch , and was thus aware of the high quality of the food served there and the friendly and efficient staff . It therefore came as no surprise that dinner was of an extremely high standard and that there were plenty of obliging and solicitous staff on what was a very busy Saturday evening . Stayed during a particularly cold spell and me Hotel was lovely and warm ànd clean coming in from the cold. Restaurant and bar area kept meticulously clean and staff couldn't do enough for ourselves. Lovely open fire added to ambience. Rooms very clean well kept although our room was to the back of the hotel so missed the sea view from rooms to the front. One of the few hotels we have stayed at to cook breakfast to order. Not a buffet breakfast and was worth waiting for cooked meal....

Stayed here while we were attending a wedding close by. Staff were excellent, when we came to check in to the hotel we asked if we could get a taxi booked to go back to the wedding venue - without hesitation the lovely lady said she would take us back. What an incredible place to stay! Beautiful and peaceful location, the building has a great atmosphere and character. The room was perfect for us, the bed was so comfortable. The communal areas were fantastic and we really appreciated all the amenities provided, what an amazing place to stay! The hosts were so helpful and friendly, giving us good insights and advice for our trip. Highly recommend it to everybody!
