Great hotel. Short walk from Paddington. Near restaurants and shops. Room was very clean. Basic facilities but bathroom, kettle and TV were all that were needed so it was perfect. Will be staying again.

First impression of the hotel was not great as the lobby and lift are very small. However I am happy with the room and found the staff extremely helpful generally. It’s great to hear the staff telling American tourists about the history of royalty :)

We would definitely stay again. Room was very well equipped & spacious.
Only two things letting it down. Black mould in the shower (wasn’t loads but noticeable straight away) needs keeping on to off. Then I dropped my ring and went under the bed… the build up of dust was crazy - obviously the bed had not been moved in a very long time. But it’s not something I go looking for nor would I expect a housekeeper to bust their back moving the bed in each room - especially if they are cleaning on...

Fantastic for a business trip - great location and great facilities - also a work space area next to the reception which saved me trudging through the rain to an office.
Big clean room and great food and drink options

The best areas to stay in Bushey are Bushey Village and the area around Bushey Heath, both offering a pleasant and well-connected experience.
Bushey Village is the historic heart of the town, characterised by its picturesque High Street with traditional pubs, local shops, and independent eateries. It retains a lovely, almost rural feel, with St. James's Church and the Bushey Museum and Art Gallery as key landmarks. This area is particularly well-suited for couples seeking a tranquil base with local charm, as it offers a relaxed pace and easy access to local amenities.
For those prioritising convenience and good transport links, Bushey Heath offers a more bustling environment. Situated on a main road, it provides straightforward access to Watford and London via public transport. You'll find a good selection of shops, restaurants, and cafes here.
When is the best time to go to Bushey?
The best time to visit Bushey is generally during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is at its most pleasant.
During these months, you'll find warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, making it ideal for exploring the local parks and green spaces like Bushey Rose Garden. This period also offers the best conditions for outdoor activities and attending local events.
For those who prefer to avoid the busiest tourist times and still enjoy good weather, May, early June, and September are excellent choices.
