"Staff here are where very helpful we booked a family room when arriving into our room there was only a double bed and one single for a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were very quick to help and re arranged us a new room without hesitation. We had travelled a lot the day of staying. "The staff at the hotel are wonderful and are always welcome to great you. The breakfast is lovely and plenty of choice. The evening meal I had with them was okay, starter and sweet were fine, main course was a little bit dry and I told them about a so they refunded me on that item. Ithink they have only one kitchen catering to all and they were also catering to a large wedding party that night, No problem,I got my bill adjusted accordingly. Lovely hotel with wonderful views of the Cathedral, just needs an update on the rooms to bring them to pine furniture and tubular steel furniture, painting around winerssill and a clean windows policy from a good external window cleaners and you are ready to go into inviting long term guests 3 or 4 days stay who would love to look around Lincoln and all its historical background."

"The hotel was very good. The only thing which let it down was the time the Damon’s restaurant opened for breakfast. The internet stated that breakfast started at 7am, however when we asked the receptionist, she said that it opened at 8am. We asked her to make sure by ringing across to the restaurant who confirmed it was 8am. This is why I only gave the hotel 4 stars."

"I’ve stayed here before several times in the same room but this time the bathroom had a dirty smell possibly the drains/urine. I brought it to the attention of the staff who agreed it didn’t snell clean and they said they would bring it to the attention of the cleaning staff the next day."
