"It was a lovely space. Such a beautiful view and warm and welcoming and loads for the kids to do. One annoying thing was I wish there were more chairs as it said it could cater for 10 people but there were only 6 chairs. Also my parents were going to accompany us but I’m glad they didn’t in the end as they would have struggled with the split level. There is a short flight of stairs which is not great if you have a bung hip."

"The moment we arrived it felt like your worries melted away. The house is filled with beautiful treasures from the past, it was like stepping into a different era, it was fantastic. Karen is an amazing host, the goodies that were left for us were terrific, bottle of Moet, bread, eggs Pepes Butter (which I love) juice, chips and Karen even baked an amazing shortbread. "House was a good size for what we required. Plenty of space to relax. Pool was good once we cleaned it. It was pretty dirty. We were unable to use the grass area as the grass was overgrown and needed mowing. Overall cleanliness was ok. Just the ovens and bbq needed a really thorough clean. Main issue was the damp smell of the lower ground floor. Carpet may have been wet and not dried??"
