We booked 5 nights here and left on the 2nd night, no refund.
There is A LOT of traffic noise due to a motorway on-ramp to the south/west and old single glazing that didn’t close properly so sounds like the window is wide open.
The whole place is in desperate need of an upgrade and did not match the photos.
It is really more like a hostel, definitely not a 4-star hotel.
One lift has been out of order for a very long time so long waits for the other lift.
The bathroom had missing tiles, water-damaged cupboards.
The kitchenette was similar, doors that wouldn’t close.
The bed was uncomfortable and as we arrived a couple were trying to get a refund and leave due to a rock hard bed.
The lighting is old and above the bed the shade was full of bugs. Charming!
We had a one bedroom unit and the final straw was a loud party in the 2 bedroom unit next door. Hotel policy is to ask them to be quiet after 10pm, 10pm!!
Reception are clearly used to complaints and while 2 gentleman were helpful a younger lady just didn’t care and was extremely unhelpful. Unfortunately she seems to be in charge so getting issues sorted was futile.
Frankly if you’re going away for a boys or a girls trip and want a central location with big rooms to preload before heading out then it’s fine. If you’re a couple wanting a restful holiday or business travellers then run a mile, far better value nearby.
