"This was a wonderful experience. We stayed at the Crossroads Hotel for 3 nights. The room we were in on the first night looked into the foyer which was less than ideal. We asked if we could move to a room with an exterior view. They not only moved us but upgraded our room. The front office team went out of their way to get us heavy cream (instead of half-and-half) for our coffee every morning. And the restaurant! The best pork shoulder I have ever eaten in my life. The only downside was that nobody ever came to clean the room on any of the 3 days we were there. That came as a surprise. But other than that, we loved it and would come back in a heartbeat (and order the pork shoulder!). "

Unlike many places, nothing here feels pre-made; every cocktail is expertly crafted to perfection. Stillwell operates with open seating before 5 PM, but it gets lively and bustling as the evening progresses, so it's a great idea to arrive early if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. The service was exceptional -- warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Since we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with complimentary champagne, a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our evening even more special. The hotel offers its own parking garage for guests, but there are also street parking options nearby if you prefer. If you're looking for a luxurious getaway or simply an elevated night out in Kansas City, Loews -- and a visit to Stillwell -- should be at the top of your list!"
