"Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "

"Loved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didn’t in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! The pub had a fab atmosphere, the food was lush and the cocktails were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again 💕❤️😍"

"Old-world warmth of welcome to children and adults. Main reception room is a beautiful large high windowed, graceful, room resplendent with its numerous couches, library, sea views and perfect for rainy days. The pork belly and fresh vegetables were delicious. A realistically priced, child-welcoming, truly charming hotel with generous pool towels, for the much enjoyed indoor and outdoor pool. The location is great for quick walks, short taxi and train rides to an abundance of child-appropriate fun. The staff are delightful. Grandeur and hospitality without the price-tag, breakfast and bedroom more than adequate, we look forward to our next visit very much. If you need power-showers, and ten-star waitress-service breakfasts, air conditioning, ... this hotel is not for you, but how lucky we are to have this wonderful hotel exactly as it is. "
