"We had a lovely stay at Gara Rock Hotel and were really impressed with the staff, who were incredibly helpful, attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a balcony, which was a great size for us and our 8-week-old baby. The views from the room were absolutely incredible and really made the stay. The drinks selection was also excellent, with plenty of choice, and the food was good overall. If I were to suggest an area for improvement, it would be the food menu. Given the location, I think there could be more emphasis on local produce and seafood, along with a slightly more refined, fine-dining style offering. The facilities were great, and the private cinema room was a fantastic touch. One small frustration was the TV in the bedroom, as we struggled to access any streaming platforms. This was a little annoying when we simply wanted a quiet evening in with a bottle of wine. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. The location, views, staff and overall atmosphere make Gara Rock a really special place."
