"Amazing country views and minutes away from all amenities Linlithgow has to offer. We stayed for 4 weeks and found all the comforts of home. Great walks right outside your door whether it’s along the canal or up to Beecraigs."

"It was a perfect place for our holiday. Charming cottage with a lot of place. Very well placed, 30 min to edimbourgh, 15 min to the airport."

"Det er en lille perle i midten af ingenting men stadigvæk tæt på Edinburgh. Helt perfekt til et par dages ferie. "

"Great apartment, in excellent location...we would happily recommend it."

"Margo is a responsive host and helped us with location details, transportation information and ideas for enjoying our stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommend the beautiful cottage and its location. It gave us a break from the busy downtown after long days of travel and seeing the city. The garden is an amazing part of the stay! Minutes away, there were grocery stores and Margo provided a lovely greeting basket that gave us things to enjoy after getting off a long flight. Awesome experience!"

"Very nice and relaxing in the hot tub with a lovely private garden."

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"

"We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud!"

"We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. "Fantastic house, really spacious bedrooms, well appointed kitchen with everything a family would need. Great location equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh."

"Lovely lodge , nice and peaceful site for a chilled break "

"A fabulous lodge in a beautiful location. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful."

"Our host, Peter, was great. He was very responsive and friendly. The house was clean and check-in and check-out was very easy."

"All rooms were clean and tidy. Weather was very good only a brief period of rain. Weather used the public transport which was so easy to use and treated ourselves to a glutes free chippy tea, which was a short walk into the village. Lovely place!"
