"We had a wonderful stay at Le Refuge. The location was great for visiting the region and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Everything you would need was thought of, from basic food supplies like spices and oils, to soaps, shampoos, and conditioner. There are board games and books if you need some entertainment, but we were kept busy touring the area, so we didn’t have an opportunity to use them. We would definitely choose this cottage if we visit the area again."

"We loved our stay at this property from the moment we walked in the door! It was perfect for our group of friends who were there to catch up and do some skiing. All the mountains were within 30 minutes. We had everything we needed and weren't in need of anything. Our hosts even turned up the heat for our arrival. To cap it all off, the horses next door came by to say hello and we were treated to a herd of deer crossing the lake. We recommend the property and hosts without reservation."

"Everything worked out great with our stay. The cabin is very large and spacious. We stayed with 10 people and there were plenty of beds and space around the house. There was never a moment that we felt crowded. The areas is nice and remote and very quiet. Just the way we wanted. Pierre was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!"

"Upon arrival, we did not have the code to get the keys to enter the house, had problems contacting the owner/manager. We wanted to BBQ our first night but there was no propane. Contacted owner again who called the neighbour as propane was locked in the garage. Neighbour was not home. We were told to purchase propane and be reimbursed. It was too late to do so. So no BBQ. We ran short of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher pods so bought some, left a few and took the rest home. We were told...

"Pros: Great space for hosting. We had some guests over during our stay and the living/dining space with the large table and couch were great. The space is also well divided with bedrooms spread between the basement and upstairs floors. The whole place was also spotless – very clean! The outdoor pool area is fantastic and a great place to mingle with the neighbours. The host is very responsive to every query. The only negative points were the patio furniture, which was quite dated and the on/off...

À moins de 20 minutes des montagnes et 35 min de Jay Peak. Magnifique cuisine pour de bonnes bouffes. Cuisinière au gaz un peu difficile à utiliser et départ un peu trop tôt. Chambres confortables et bien isolées. On recommande !"
