Hotels of this standard with spas are often outside the centre so it was great to stay here - to be so comfortable and so close to shops, restaurants, walks etc. The staff person in reception gave a us a map and outlined a walk round the city which we took, and saw all the main sites, especially the old historic quarter. What a fantastic hotel, right in the heart of the city. The hotel itself has an eclectic mix of memorabilia, mainly centred in the music industry - and even boasts its own recording studio. The staff are very attentive and professional, and the whole place feels wonderfully relaxed. The Expedia description doesn’t mention parking, but don’t let this put you off. There is both on street parking as well as an underground car park within 100m of the hotel.

Absolutely stunning hotel. From arrival to departure the staff were exceptional. Suite with sea view was perfect, comfortable bed, fluffy towels, bottled water, gorgeous toiletries and coffee machine.
