If you are nervous of dogs be aware of three very large lap dogs that may and come visit. Don’t be scared by their bear collars as they are for their protection i am assuming. "Our stay here was absolutely wonderful, communication beforehand was great from the host made check in very easy and smooth. The property was a nice quiet getaway it felt very private and having a hot tub to sit and watch the stars come out was just the icing on top. Inside was clean and carried a real mountain cabin vibe with little notes around certain things that made the usual questions answer themselves such as how to get the tv to work, hot tub operation etc. Thank you again guys we loved...

"4 adults and a baby stayed in this property. It was great having the downstairs for the young family while the grandparents could sleep on the main floor. Thankfully there was even a booster seat for the 1 year old as we forgot a high chair. So many things were available to us that made our stay feel like home. Would reserve this property again in a heart beat if needed to be in the area again"

"Thank you Ken and Sue! My seven sisters and I had an absolutely wonderful Sisters Retreat! The facility was immaculately clean, everything was there for us to have a relaxing stay. Wood was provided for the stove (some paper for starting fires would be appreciated). The kitchen was convenient and the furniture and big beds comfortable. (The basement beds could use a bit better mattresses) All in all, we would stay again!"

"This is a cozy cabin for two that is completely private in the woods near the owner's house. When I say "secluded" I mean not visible from the street or the owner's house which is in a very quiet area. We had a rainy weekend, so we didn't use the fire pit outside, but made a nice fire in the wood stove inside. Though only for two, it's not cramped by any means. The hot tub is a two person one and was an awesome way to end our days. You won't be sorry to stay here."

"We all loved staying in the Rooster Cabin - I love how it’s at the end of a road and all the windows look out on the woods and fields - it really is a get-away from it all.
