Close to skiing. Great location for dog walks, and we were so glad to find this dog-friendly accommodation. Great location, a short drive from Golden and far enough to feel like you are really away from it all. The cabin is perfect in every way - just off the highway and nestled in the woods but not isolated. Very clean with comfortable bedding. We cooked all our meals in and the kitchen is well stocked. Stone fireplace and log interior makes it very cozy. My daughter and I had a great time hiking, especially Wapta falls. We really wanted to visit Banff, Yoho and Kootenay but preferred to also stay somewhere away from all the crowds. This cabin was great for that. It was still a drive to get to each place but we were pretty centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. It's located in a quiet, scenic location that is easily accessible from the highway. Close to Golden and perfect for skiing at nearby resorts (we skied Lake Louise). The cabin is exactly as pictured and is one of 20 cabins about 20 minutes from Golden. The cabin was perfect for our party of four and communication with the property managers was great. If you’re looking for a little peace and quiet after a day of amazing hiking, look no further.
