The best time to go to Brisbane is during autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November), when the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with lower humidity.

During these months, you'll find the temperatures are ideal for exploring the city's outdoor attractions without the intense heat and humidity of summer or the slightly cooler mornings and evenings of winter. This makes it superb for enjoying riverside walks, dining outdoors, and day trips.

For those looking to combine city exploration with a relaxed, comfortable climate, autumn and spring are simply the best. You can comfortably explore areas like South Bank Parklands, take a CityCat ferry along the Brisbane River, or visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

Brisbane offers a range of options for evening entertainment, with several areas suiting different preferences.

The Fortitude Valley precinct is Brisbane's main entertainment area. You'll find a high concentration of nightclubs, live music venues, and bars here, particularly along Brunswick Street and Ann Street. It's also home to various restaurants that stay open late, providing options for post-dinner drinks and dancing.

For a more relaxed evening, South Bank provides riverside dining and bars with views of the city. While not focused on clubs, you'll find plenty of establishments offering cocktails and fine wines, often with outdoor seating. It's a good spot for a pleasant evening stroll and a drink.

The Brisbane CBD, particularly around Eagle Street Pier and Queen Street Mall, has a selection of sophisticated bars and restaurants. These often cater to a more professional crowd and offer high-end cocktails and wine lists. Many establishments here provide indoor and outdoor seating, some with river views.

West End, a little further out, has a more bohemian feel. It's known for its independent bars, pubs, and live music venues, many of which focus on craft beers and spirits.
