"Accceas to the property was via a door code which was supplied on the day at check in time which wasn’t till 3. Whilst the room was clean and had been renovated relatively recently it hadn’t been done to a good standard and needs repainting and the bathroom redoing to bring it up to a good standard. The room had French doors which opened up onto a flat roof which couldnt be used as a balcony and the Juliet balcony guard was laid on the flat roof. View out the window was horrid and over looked....

"Honestly slightly disappointed.
The room stank of damp, it was swelteringly hot in the downstairs room and there were huge cobwebs on the walls and all of the surfaces were covered in dust.
We paid for the ‘king’ room so for the price increase this was disappointing!
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were friendly that was the only bonus of staying here.
Also ‘buzz bingo’ is NOT a 5 min walk, it’s an absolutely minimum 15 minutes so be weary of this!!!"

Spent a fantastic couple of nights at A Room with a View for Valentine's weekend and we were both over the moon with our choice! From the moment you walk in it felt welcoming and cosy, yet had all the mod-cons and more. My husband loved the cooked breakfast (and the coffee machine!) and I felt very spoilt, being gluten free, with all sorts of specialist items for me to enjoy.
