The stairs to the rooms are steep but the owner is more than willing to help carry things to your room. There is a common fridge for guests and courtesy coffee and tea. A fun stay for history buffs and walking distance to the restaurants."

"It is a beautiful setting, the rooms clean, updated, well supplied for necessities. Beds-- very comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly & helpful. Location surprisingly quiet at night; tho during regular hours talking in adjoining room could occasionally be heard thru the wall. Room has a fridge. If you need a microwave, there is a central one for guests to use--be sure to ask about it. Be prepared for "cozy" at 169sq ft. as these rooms harken back to the "motor court" days. The hotel was a great base from which to explore natural sites & history in the Eastern Sierra's. Would stay here again."
