We had no housekeeping at all for the three nights/four days when we were there (despite leaving the light on asking for room to be cleaned) - at the end of the third night when I called reception to request new towels cups, glasses and water - someone left a bag into the room, and didn’t clear any of the old towels and cups away. Grubby. Breakfast was chaotic. Lovely staff, but inexperienced and lacking a guiding hand and management. The heavy metal side panel of the bath in our bathroom was hanging off and almost fell on my foot. In fairness, that was repaired pretty much straight away when I reported it. The hotel is in a great location but it’s getting the most basic things wrong……very expensive for what ot turned out to be."

"We were told we could have a nice upgrade for $200 with a nice view. Our room had a view of the train and nothing else. It was very disappointing and we felt swindled. I would not stay at your hotel again. The staff were not overly pleasant either. "

"Location is fantastic, staff was friendly and welcoming. The bed and linens were clean but overall the room didn't feel clean, the power went out (understandably not their fault but still sucked) and we had to pack up to checkout in the dark. Overall the room did not feel worth 400$ a night and we would try somewhere else next time. "

"I have stayed in this hotel three times now. The first stay was beyond excellent, the second not so much. But this third time was pretty good once I'd managed to check in (they weren't having an early check-in, beyond giving me an accessible room which I didn't need or something in the basement), but I was pretty happy with where they finally put me as it was very quiet and I slept well. The breakfast was good and I appreciated the free drink. If I run London next year then I will probably want to return for a fourth time."
